DeSoto Photo Walk

The best way to get better at photography is to shoot alongside other people who are doing the same thing. The DeSoto Photo Walk is a relaxed, moving session through our city — cameras up, conversation flowing, everyone finding their own frame of the same street.

We meet as a group, set out together, and stop along the way for on-the-spot guidance: how to handle harsh light, where to stand, what to include and what to leave out. As the evening moves toward golden hour, the light does half the work for you, and we finish with a share-out where anyone who wants feedback can get it.

There is no skill floor here. Bring a professional body or bring the phone in your pocket — both will teach you something over four hours of intentional looking.
